The M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology (www.msrit.edu), a premier, autonomous private engineering and management college based in Bangalore went live with CB's AMS on Saturday, 20th August, 2011. CB has been working closely with MSRIT over the past several months to ensure a smooth transition from their current off-line systems to CB's AMS. Saturday was the launch day. In a function held at MSRIT, the AMS Registrar, Dr. Shashidhara, formally deployed the system in the presence of MSRIT's Advisor Professor Rajanikanth, Principal Professor Rajanandam, CB Board member Professor Rao, and senior faculty and administrative staff.
Speaking to the project manager of College Builder, Vani Shastry, after the event, Principal Rajanandam noted, "This is really a good tool for us...[we shall] make use of it to the full extent." Taking an academic perspective, Professor Krishnan, Head of the Electrical Engineering Department and Controller of Examinations, added "This is wonderful, it has a nice grading structure and (full access to) academic records." Speaking to the assembled audience, CB's Professor Rao noted that "We are delighted to establish this relationship with MSRIT and hope that they will be fully satisfied with College Builder."
College Builder welcomes MSRIT to its family of users of its AMS. We are confident that MSRIT's administration, faculty and, most important, its 6,000 students will increase their academic productivity substantially, while simultaneously delivering to MSRIT enhanced administrative and financial efficiency. We intend to fully support MSRIT's use of CB's AMS with our advanced features, delivery technologies and post-deployment support.
